As parents, we know you value your child's education and school experience.  PTO offers parents and teachers another opportunity to interact for the benefit of your children, school and community.

The Columbus PTO sponsors many activities, programs and resources at the school.  We host Third Grade Ice Cream Social, Winter Carnival, Columbus Family Night, Book Fairs, classroom and curriculum support, Scholastic News, homework trackers and many other school needs or events.

All of this is made possible by the generous support of our school family.  Move Like a Jaguar is the primary fundraising event held in the Fall.  Corporate Sponsor Programs (i.e., dining out nights) and Box Tops are also used for fundraising.  Additionally, volunteers and/or donations are needed throughout the year to support a variety of events.

All Columbus Elementary School parents and guardians of students, teachers and the principal are members of the Columbus School PTO. We know you time is valuable, so to keep PTO members aware of events, programs and activities, we host four meetings each school year.  The meetings are limited to one hour.  Each meeting includes an update from the principal, committee chairs and any old /new discussion items. Meetings are open to all parents and staff at Columbus.  Please join us!
